Power Restored To North P.G.

A downed power pole knocked out electricity to a northern reach of Prince George for several hours late this afternoon.

B.C. Hydro says  the outage  started just after 4:00  was restored nearly three hours later.

More than 2 thousand customers were hit by the outage which stretched from  Chief Lake Road on the south, to Muermann road on the North, and from Isle Pierre Road on the west to Highway 97 on the east. 

B.C. Hydro has not indicated how the pole was damaged.
