Just before 7 a.m. this morning, the owner of a truck stolen overnight in Edson, Alberta advised police that the truck’s GPS unit was tracking the vehicle westbound on Highway 16, towards Prince George. Police located the White Ford F350 Crew Cab, which was carrying two quads, on Highway 16, near the Upper Fraser Road, about 10 km east of Prince George.

The driver of the truck attempted to escape Police by turning north on the Upper Fraser Road, then west on the Beaver Forest Road. The driver continued on toward Shelley Road, but got stuck in the bush after trying to leave the roadway. Four police cars were used to secure the area while Police followed two fleeing males towards the river.

A Police Dog and Handler tracked the subjects for half an hour along the river and back up to Loopol Road. Two Prince George males, age 18 and 27, were arrested. Both men are known to Police.

Too cool !
HEY BEN LETS PRINT THE NAMES OF THESE SCUMBAGS SO EVERYBODY KNOWS WHO TO WATCH. THE MEDIA IS LAX ABOUT IDENTIFYING THOSE CHARGED.WHY ???

"known to police?" I guess that means they should be in jail? Our society puts up with such idiots all the time. What if those ---holes would have killed someone on the road while evading the cops, then maybe they'd get in substantial trouble. So much for prevention. All we do is band-aid everything in this country. When they release them they'll be back to their old tricks. Maybe next time it'll be my truck. bastards. I dig the way they got them though.
