Weird Robbery

Prince George RCMP are investigating a strange robbery.

About 5:30 last evening, police got a call about a robbery and assault with a weapon.

A man on George Street said he was leaving a local hotel with a case of beer when he was jumped. He says he was stabbed in the back with a needle, and the attacker then took off with his case of beer.

The victim was taken to hospital. No word on his condition.

Police are continuing their investigation.

What's so weird about that? The thief wanted the case of beer and he had something to stab the victim with to get it.

Who would steal bud.....I mean any tap or fountain will give you water to drink for free.

Not very funny for the poor guy who will probably have to undergo a whole series of preventative shots and later check-ups to guard against having been infected with a disease like hepatitis or HIV.

When people read about muggings like this in the downtown they will shun it even more.

All that trouble and costs to the healthcare system because of some slob committing a brazen act of violence.

Lock him up for a few years when you catch him.

Easy to joke around about, until you know of someone that goes once every 6 months for a slew of tests because they were pricked (in this fellows case stabbed) by a hypodermic needle.
