The Province has invested $1.3 million in upgrades at six Central Interior provincial parks, say local MLAs Pat Bell, Shirley Bond, and John Rustad.

The projects cover a wide variety of needed upgrades that will enhance the parks for both locals and tourists.

"The Central Interior is a popular destination for tourists from across
Canada and around the world. These upgraded facilities will help draw
more visitors and inject more tourism dollars into our local economy,"
says Bell, the MLA for Prince George North.

Important upgrades include:

- $400,000 in Mount Robson Provincial Park for trail work, suspension bridge replacement and replacing and upgrading facilities

- $120,000 in Sugarbowl - Grizzly Den Provincial Park for moving trails
 and upgrading sanitary facilities.

- $187,000 in Whiskers Point Provincial Park for a drinking water
system replacement and for upgrading campsites.

-  $200,000 in Eskers Provincial Park for main access road and
reconstructing trails.

- $61,000 in Carp Lake Provincial Park for campground
rehabilitation.

- $358,000 in Bowron Lake Provincial Park for replacing the water distribution
system and for campground reconstruction.

Excellent investment IMO.
Yes, but there has to be a catch. Like maybe they are going to place a fee on them or worse....
