White Stuff Causes Alarm at BCR Industrial Site

RCMP are looking for the person or persons responsible for sending an envelope containing a white powdery stubstance to the BCR Industrial site.
The letter was addressed to an employee at CN, and police are now ingvestigating if the letter was a direct threat to the person, or to the company.
When a worker opened the letter and discovered the white substance, police were immediately contacted.
The RCMP mobilized the Fire Department, Hospital, Physicians,and the Northern Health Authority, just in case the white stuff turned out to be serious. The RCMP's Hazardous Materials Team arrived from the lower mainland around 1:00 this morning.
14 people were held in a containment area while the powder underwent testing.
After testing the powder, the Hazardous Materials Team concluded the stuff didn't pose any threat to health, and the workers were allowed to leave the area.
