When someone thinks Chiropractic they usually think back and neck pain and that is it.

In actual fact, Chiropractic care is much more wide spread than that.

Over the next few weeks I will be writing up a variety of other cases that have come through chiropractic offices around the world.

The first one is of a new born that was seen at my office here in Prince George. Names have been changed to protect identity.

Jason is a 2 month old newborn. He is healthy, eating well and sleeping through the night. His mother Tracy, has brought him to the office because he has does not have regular bowel movements. His current bout with constipation has been three days.

Upon chiropractic examination, evidence of a subluxation (this is a bone that has moved out of place and gotten stuck there, this can cause indirect strain on the spinal cord and/or spinal nerves), was present at the top bone in his neck called the atlas. I proceeded to adjust Jason.

After the adjustment Tracy noticed Jason was wet and while changing him he had the first bowel movement in three days. The next day I contacted Tracy to follow-up on how things were going and was told he had four more bowel movements.

Jason continues to be very healthy, he just had his first birthday and I have seen him twice since that first adjustment.

Hi Travis, Thank you for sharing other health issues that Chiropractic adjustment has helped sort out.

Our family has had treatment for a number of physical afflictions that chiropractic has allowed us to overcome. Viseral Massage for stomach and bowel problems. (Regular Doctors solution was surgery)

Hiatas Hernia problems improved immediately with one or two treatments. The alternative treatment was surgery.

Should binding. One Chiropractic adjustment. Regular Medical treatment suggested Cortisone shots and then surgery if shots didn't work.

There is definitely more than one way to treat the body. I for one will support and use Chiropractic for my family's health. Chester
Thanks for the feedback Chester. I will be posting somemore histories so keep an eye out. Someone once told me that the final chapter on healing has not been written and he couldn't have been more correct. I just wish the people at MSP would catch on.
