Where in the Criminal Code of Canada does it say specifically that a baby carriage is NOT considered "safe storage of a firearm?" That's the safest place only because "who would think to look there?" And not only that, how about that phrase, "safe in the arms of your mother?" A baby carriage could be the second best place. Right?
Out of site out of mind. Can you think of what would have happened to him if he was carrying it over his shoulder? He would have had the SWAT team after him. Maybe even shot and killed. Except for being prohibited, I don't think he broke any laws maybe he was moving the rifle from point A to B.
Another great victory for the Liberal Party's much-vaunted Firearms Act! A person under a firearms prohibition still manages to get his hands on a gun. How can that be! Wasn't the whole purpose behind the Firearms Act to "keep guns out of the hands of those who shouldn't have them"? As Dr. Phil would say "How's that working out for you?".
