They sure know who to send and where. Its like sending a May Queen to a flower festival. Wonder why they don't send Emerson to explain the softwood deal or someone to look at the pine beetle problem.

Here are some questins the Legion should ask Greg:

How many more young Canadians will have to die before we stop fighting wars created by the Americans.

Will our Veterans remember how long it took the Amercans to become involved in World War two.

When will Canada stop shovelling money into Natianal Defence and provide meaningfull funds to the opressed in the world.

And as a veteran I wouldnt walk acrss the street to say Hi.
Well said. Also, the purpose of this little pleasure cruise that the taxpayers are paying for is what ...?
Three legions in one day? I sure hope he has got one of them "designated drivers". Hey, kimbo, give the guy a break and just blame good ol' Bush. Seems to be the "in" thing to do these days. I am "oppressed". Can I have some of your money?
KIMBO....If your a Vet were you a F,en PAYCLERK, I am sure with your wimpy comments you were not a Combat Vet!!!!!! Go stick your head up your Ass....POSER....VET NOT LIKLY....
Don McKenzie..Wow! Ya sure don't mince words, eh? I challenge you to repeat those comments in a "politically correct" sense. Still....Wow!
I can't believe the utter ignorance of the above comments. No better than those who urinated on the national monument. You are just very lucky people like my Father, in the second war, and my Grandfather in the First along with hundreds of thousands then and now are prepared to put themselves in danger for you to be able to make the inane comments you have. I wonder if you're brave enough to go to any of those Legions and say the same. A little respect may elevate anything you may have to say and give it some credibility. I know from listening to those vets ( that may or may not have some person concerns that yours and our governments neglect may need addressing), they appreciated the effort of the Minister to listen to their concern. Just remember you garner the respect your mouth earns.

Doesn't sound like he made a whole lot of time to listen to your concerns. Get off the vet bandwagon and look at it for what it is...a junket. If he was interested in listening to concerns, he would be spending the day in each town having a study session. It is only because he is the Veterans' Affairs Minister that he has to stop for meals at each Legion to justify the trip.

All my respect to vets and all my dead relatives who fought in both wars.
