Barkerville Post Office Saved

Good news from Barkerville.

Canada Post has decided to keep the post office open.

Letters of support from area Mayors, (including Prince George’s) were sent to Canada Post asking that the Post Office in Barkerville remain open. The post office is a vital link for supplies for businesses in Barkerville.

Canada Post has now revisited it’s decision, and changed it’s mind, meaning the Barkerville Post Office will remain open.
