So, what kind of weapons? Hunting rifles?

Or other types of firearms that would be out of place in a typical hunters home? I wonder if they were all registered and safely stored?

Scary situation for the officer. I wouldn't want the job. Especially with all of the bitter, critical and hateful people out there who have no respect for the RCMP. Chester

Knives? How many forks? Spoons?
The moral of the story: Tell the cops to go jack themselves and they'll find a way to turn it around on you. Remember....the game of "fa-q" is a game two can play.
You would think at the age of 53 that he would have developed some sort of consideration for his neighbors, especially at night and had he had a lapse of memory surely a reminder by the police should have been enough.
I guess some people think their rights, have the right to stomp all over everyone elses rights...
I hope eh enjoys his time in jail visiting "BUBBA"
Oh, get off your soapbox, Chester. You are not in Hyde Park.
People do not hate the R C M P.
They just ask that people are not killed needlessly by an overzealous officer. And if there is such an occurrence, the officer should be relieved of duties whereby he deals directly with the public-but perhaps can be the recipient of an office position.
Kind of like. "If the kitchen is too hot-don't be employed as a cook."
If a cop is guilty of wrongdoing, he must answer for his actions.
We need the police, and no person has ever stated we could have a world without law enforcement.
So lay off your diatribe re the public hating the police.
It just is NOT SO, and you certainly cannot justify such remarks.
Yes Chester can justify his remarks...Just read the posts on opinion 250 (Ref Any thing to do with Police)...80% are anti Police
Don-those are the posters.
They do not represent the general public.
They may have an "axe to grind," giving them reason to vent on the subject.
We could not-and I mean it, could not, live in a world without law enforcement.
I would not have their job for any money.
The kitchen would be far too hot for me.
It being the profession they chose-they must realize they are subject to criticism for any wrongdoing they are guilty of, and accusations against them carry a penalty and must be answered to, and justified, with a determination as to guilty or innocent.
It would be sad indeed if a citizen lived in fear of those hired to protect us.
I feel most sorry for the person who called the police to report that man who ended up being
killed at McLeese Lake.
Some good deed that turned out to be.
Noisy house parties at 2 A M definitely are disturbing for neighbors.
There is a solution though-invite the neighbors!!
