Prince George RCMP say charges are pending after two drug-related arrests on Friday evening.

RCMP arrested a 21-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman in the downtown core, for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. They also seized 24 flaps of cocaine and a quantity of cash.

Lock them up and throw the keys away!
Same for any pushers ever picked up-do NOT put them out on the streets again.
So it costs to keep them in jail?
Well the lives they destroy surely has a much higher cost. And the effect of drug addiction affects many more individuals than the person pushing it.
Put them away-and do not let them out.
Ever.
Again I ask: How much "crime does not pay" money did they have on their persons? I feel like a sucker fer going to work. AND paying taxes.
downtown? drug arrests? friday?
no way it must not be true.
if the cops shook down a few more dirtbags i am sure they have found a lot more than 20 flaps of coke.
They did find more than 20 flaps. The report says the found 24.

Now, can someone who takes the stuff regularly or is around people who do, tell me what a flap is in this case. I haven't the faintest clue and thought I would first ask those who seem to.

I do not know either-but I assume it would be what is called a "hit".
I am at a loss as to why or how people can get on drugs. It is very sad for the families, as drug addicts become liars, thieves, and can be paranoid schizophrenic in what seems like a split second. They are not the person one knew and loved-they are actually beyond belief, and care about nothing but the next fix.
I actually do not think it is possible to get inside the mind of a person suffering from an addiction-and the troublesome part is- they do not want help or treatment, they just want more of what they are addicted to.
Those ungodly pushers and suppliers of drugs should be put away for life-never to see the light of day.
And the damn justice system should be overhauled to assist in putting these people away.
I think the governments like to have the public with their minds boggled.
Clear thinkers question.
Druggies just hunt down more drugs. They do not even realize there is such a thing as a government-and if it did register momentarily-it would be short lived.
Give them the needles and drugs, and keep those soup kitchens and homeless shelters ongoing.
These people require little contol.
What leads people to drugs?
I will probably never know!
trusted you can be trusted no more, a flap should be about a gram , enough to get you good and high for a few hours when you will be willing to do anything to get some more
cost, 30 bucks for a "flap"
Thanks-as without your posting Spanky I would never know.
So O K explain this!
If it is $30.00 for a few hours, how come I hear people can spend a thousand dollars a day?
Sounds impossible.
And what do you mean, do anything?
I believe someone I know well is on drugs, and I would give my eye teeth to find out what. Friends will not tell, and I have looked up everything possible on the computer, but what drug makes a person almost to the point of being violent-and shout and scream, and say crazy things? Lie and steal and a total change of personality? Just not nice at all?
I have looked up so much on the comp, and watched that Intervention on T V, (every program on drugs to boot), and I can still only guess. I hate to think crystal meth as that really looks deadly.
Scares the hell out of me. I would gladly pay for rehab-but I am being kept in the dark.
a thousand a day on coke? not likely dude. you would have to have a huge, enourmous, almost unheard of coke habit. but it is possible. most people snort some "B" as they say along with booze and the occasional tab of extasy.Cocaine to the every day nerd is a party drug for the young and restless. a full time cokanut could snort a "g"'s worth in a day. a "g" a day would require 24 hr/a day snorting. i suspect your man/woman is on the crystal meth, that shit would fly a kite on a calm day, supposedly a deadly high, but incredibly addictive.

p.s. why will the friends not tell?
are they yours or the meth head?
hopefully not yours.
let me know if you need any more "drug info" as i am well informed.
oh and by the way "do anything" means, that a cokanut, would do frikkin anything to get some more "b" once he/she is high, because the high is great, it is coming down that sucks, they feel like bags of shit and are all remorsefull and all that. when they are clean they will tell you they are never doing it again and lots of other bs but don't believe a word.
i've known a few coke/crack/crysal/heroin users in my day, believe me.
No, not my friends, as I do not have any myself on drugs. I ask the person's friends I believe is on drugs, and they will not tell me anything, so there is nothing I can do to help, as I do not know what I am dealing with.
What drug makes them almost violent and out of control.
When they shout and scream over nothing, are they coming down?
Are all drug users liars and fabricate stories which one knows are not true?
I even thought maybe mental, as bi polar seems to fit the mood swings and craziness.
I am so puzzled! Guess I need help as much as the person I am concerned about. Claims only smokes dope-admits to that-but I thought dope mellowed a person, did not make them almost crazy.
What would cost at least $1000.00 a month-not pot? Isn't crystal meth cheap?
What is an expensive drug?
Thanks for giving me info
I meant $3000.00 a month or more, not $1000.00
Sorry.
dude, all dope heads are liars but to them it is the truth, that is regardless of what kind of drug. they seem crazy cause the drugs warp their brain. our reality isn't theirs. the drug world amongst the users has a secret code not to talk to people about the peers problems, they won't tell you nothing. 100 a month, could be coke, heroin, meth, my guess crystal meth or cocaine, herion keeps em pretty dopey, not aggressive. good luck dude, the person in question does not sound like they want help. tough stuff. i honestly mean it when i say goodluck.

oops $1000 a month
Thanks-guess there is really nothing I can do if a person is hell bent on self destruction.
I just cannot figure out how such a thing happens!
I assume drug users associate with drug users, and that is why they protect one another from discovery-but in time it becomes impossible to hide, doesn't it?
If it could not be bought-there would be no drug addicts.
That is why I say jail all the pushers and throw away the keys.
I just find it so hard to believe intelligent people can throw their lives away, and their families mean nothing to them. They love their friends, so I assume they are all in it together.
I cannot believe the lieing, the cheating, the stealing, and all with NO conscience.
All the person's friends stay clear of me, as they know I will question them. The person I give reference to stays away from me also-totally, as I have come right out and stated I did not work to raise a drug addict.
What can a person do?
I guess nothing!
i hear ya, is tough. just hold out hope that the light will be seen.
