Blackwater Road Open to Some Traffic

The Blackwater Road off Highway 16 west is now open to single lane alternating traffic as RCMP continue their investigation of a fatal crash.
Early this morning, a logging truck and unloaded drump truck collided head -on near Minchin Road. One driver was killed, the other badly shaken.
Police say that at this time, there is nothing to suggest alcohol or drugs played a part in the collision.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
