Prince George is still getting scammed. I was in Kamloops for the weekend and today (Monday 4th) gas was at 99.9 cents a litre there.

Sunday it was $103.9 there ...

A cent more in Williams Lake ...

But we buy it at petro can with a card that give 2cents off and in Kamloops it was 5.5 cents off, so it was 98.4 cents

It is also 5.5 cents off at petro can in Abbotsford ...

The price also rose as we drove east of Kamloops ... $106.9

Ya, now that it's falling below $1.00 per litre it's supposed to feel like a Christmas present.

Owl, in Kamloops they advertise on their signs 103.4 but all stations give you 3.5 off at the pump for 99.9. A Husky station on Hwy 5 at the Halston connector is 99.0 as well as two Esso stations on the Halston connector. PG as usual is getting ripped off. National average is 96 cents per liter.

Gofaster ..... I was going to take the bus, but then discovered that there are no electric buses going to Kamloops .... and we do not even have electric buses here.

So I asked around and got the car loaded up with 4 to head south. Then discovered they had not built the commuter lane yet on the Cariboo Connector (are we all starting to switch our terminology from Hwy97 south to the Connector yet?) and had to sit behind 50 foot motor homes with 2 people and the household furniture in them for much of the way.

I guess more and more people want to be like turtles ... bring their roof with them and move about like gypsies just as slowly.
