The Air Quality Advisory remains in effect for Prince George this morning, although  a change may come by noon time.
"I'm hoping that once the inversion lifts, the air will start moving around and flush out some of the pollutants" says the Ministry of Environment's Dennis Fudge.

He had hoped things would have  improved by this morning, but says  while the advisory started  out because of  dust issues,  the  industrial pollutant  component is now  behind the higher levels.  The PM10 reading Doqwntown this morning   was  at 51 for a 24 hour average.

Fudge expects to issue  the "all clear" later today.

Amazing how this air advisory drags on, yet the City is in the process along Ospika Blvd of continuing with crack sealing. I don't know what the white substance is they put down on top of the crack sealant, but I was just driving down Ospika, and it was like blowing snow. Does anyone know what the hell that white stuff is?
Snow.
