Road Check Nabs Several

North Cariboo Traffic Services (Quesnel) and Cariboo Chilcotin Traffic Services of Williams Lake  commbined forces  with the Department of Transportation and the Conservation Officers from Williams Lake in a weekend road check on Highway 97 about 50 km south of Quesnel.

The combined check resulted in  41 charges and 49  Notice and orders being issued under the Motor Vehicle Act.  The infractions included: seatbelt, commercial vehicle and driver issues.  There were also vehicle defect infractions and one vehicle was impounded. 

There were also 5 charges and 7 notice and orders issued under the Wild Life Act, and one seizure made under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act.
