Former Cougar Signs Long Term Deal

Former Prince George Cougars Captain Dan Hamhuis has come to terms on a long term deal to remain with the Nashville Predators.

The 23-year-old from Smithers signed a four year contract worth a total of eight million dollars.

Hamhuis led the Predators last season in average ice time - 22 minutes and 33 seconds per game. He had career bests in assists, with 31, and points, with 38.  Hamhuis was plus-11, which was second on the team in plus-minus.
