Ben Winnett scored his second goal of the game at 30 seconds of overtime as Salmon Arm improved its perfect record to 7-0.

The Silverbacks trailed 3-0 after one and 5-2 after two periods in front of 618 fans at the PG Coliseum.

Jesse Fratkin notched a hat trick and added an assist for the 2-3-0-3 Spruce Kings. Jordan Inglis and Chris Shudo also scored for PG. 

15-year-old PG native Ryan Howse chipped in with two assists for the home side.

Earlier on the weekend, The Spruce Kings beat Merritt 5-3 (Saturday) and lost 4-2 to Alberni Valley (Friday).

The 2-3-0-3 Spruce Kings play at Quesnel Saturday (Sept 30th) in their next game before hosting Burnaby Saturday, October 7th at 7pm and Quesnel Sunday, October 8th at 3pm.
