Jared Walker, Dan Gendur and Prab Rai scored on the  power play for the Cats. Greg Gardner and Brett  Robertson, (into an empty net), also tallied for PG.

Each team had 27 shots.

The 2-1 Cougars play Sunday in Vancouver before hosting the Giants Wednesday and Friday at CN Centre
