Prince George RCMP need to talk to the victim of a tasering at a night club in downtown Prince George.

Police say they were doing a patrol in the 6th and Dominion street area early this morning and heard the sound of a taser.  They located a victim, identified a suspect and found a cattle prod they believe was used as a taser.

According to police, the suspect put up a fight.  As police struggled with their suspect, some intoxicated onlookers encouraged bystanders to surround the officers.  As a result, there was a secondary struggle, ths time with a woman who police say was intoxicated and had obstructed the officers.  She was arested.

Police need to speak to the taser victim who left the scene before they could get more information from him.  Other witnesses who  helped police identify the suspect are also asked to contact the Prince George detachment.

Taser first. Ask questions later. Or sumthin'like that. Ha ha ha. Being tasered is much better than being taken to the police station. Much safer, I bet. As I understand things right now.
Change intoxicated to having an open beer. Obstruction is obstruction. Taser victim who left the scene? He is still alive. That's a plus.
The actions of one are not the actions of all. Presuming they are is called bigotry.

From the account it is obvious the officers were doing their job trying to make Prince George safer for people like you and got attacked as a result. There was no taser, according to the report above, it was a cattle prod being used as a weapon, probably by a drunk who brought it downtown specifically so he could use it on someone in a drunken fight. The wonderful, law abiding citizens of PG then assaulted the police, and you think it's funny. Get a life, loser.
If that is a complete story, then the person with the cattle prod and fighting with the officers was not arrested. Only the woman from the onlookers who was obstructing the officers is reported as being arrested.

Is the rodeo in town yet?

;-)
I read that the suspect with the cattle prod was arrested after a struggle with police. A female accomplice was subsequently arrested.

I also read the victim of the cattle prod incident is wanted by police for questioning after putting up a fight and leaving the scene, hence the suspect still hanging around when police arrived.

I would like to think the people involved were trying to get at the suspect, and the police held the crowd off.

I bet if the police had a dome camera on their car that could pop up ten feet and start shining lights, than things would have turned out differently....
