Vanderhoof RCMP have seized a number of firearms and arrested a male resident of the Stoney Creek reserve yesterday after shots were fired Saturday near a Vanderhoof bar. The shots came from a high powered rifle .

 

Police have confirmed that at least one round was fired.

Shortly after the first complaint, further complaints were made as the suspect made his way through the town.

The suspect has been charged with firearms related offences.
