P.G. Unemployment Rate Inches Up

 The unemployment rate in Prince George inched up more than half a percentage point last month with Stats Canada reporting the rate  for September as 6.7 %.  It had been  an even 6% inAugust.

There was also a minor increase in the Cariboo as it moved to 6.3% from the previous months 6.2%

Provincially, the  rate held at 4.8%
