Ft. St. John Elects Christensen

Voters in Fort St. John have chosen Bruce Christensen to fill the post as Councillor in a minicipal by-election.

Christensen was gracious in accepting the win  "We had six very good candidates, I feel very honoured the residents of Fort St. JOhn  have chosen me."

Christensen says  his first priority will be to "Encourage strong relationships between the the City of Fort St. John and its partners, and that is something I am going to start working on right away."

Bruce Christensen Elected with 501 Votes
2nd  Bryon Stewart with 333 Votes
3rd  Rubin Weins with 222 Votes

Percentage of Voters Turn out - 9.09%
