Esther's Fire Minor

Prince George Fire Crews responded to a fire at Esther's Inn this afternoon. When they arrived on the scene, smoke was coming from two rooms. The fire was in the wall between the two rooms.
Staff and guests evacuated the building and two people were treated for exposure to smoke and extinguishing agents. They were treated at the scene by BC ambulance attendants.
The P.G. Fire Department says the fire was caused by maintenance people doing repairs to the plumbing. ALthough the two units sufered smoke damage, the damage is said to be minor.
