The ice at CN Centre has  been the story much of the season, and tonight it meant the game between the Cougars and Everett Silvertips had to be post poned and the final period will be played February 27th.

The ice condition was not safe, and despite an hour delay between the second and third period, the ice behind the nets could not come back to a condition that would be safe for the Cougars or the Silvertips to continue play.

The Cougars were leading 2-1 at the end of the second period,  but the  game will be "finished" February 27th when a "fourth" period will be added to the match  up with the Everett Silvertips.

The season started off with no logos because  it had to be re-flooded when there was an oil contamination issue.  Then, following the Rodeo, the ice was damaged when it was scraped to the cement following the rodeo clean up.
