Spruce Kings dropped  a third in a row  bowing 2-1 to the visiting Vernon Vipers before 721 at the Prince George Coliseum.The Vipers opened the scoring in the second period. Travis Brisebois gave the Vipers a 2-0 lead in the third before Jeff Forsythe pulled the Kings within one. But Vernon goalie Steve Thompson came up with some key saves to preserve the victory. Prince George out shot Vernon 34-27, Paul Dainton stopping 25 shots in the Kings net.
