The Fraser River Bench Lands Neighbourhood plan will be back before Prince George City Council tonight. This time, noise and air quality issues will be presented.

Also on the agenda this evening, two requests from Downtown Prince George. The group will make a presentation to illustrate why the City should make streetscape beautification in the downtown a 5 year capital plan priority. Downtown P.G would also like the City to start a neighbourhood plan process for the downtown.

City Staff will present a case to switch diesel vehicles to a bio-diesel/petroleum diesel blend.

The Master Plan for Carrie Jane Grey will be presented, and Centre City Ventures will outline it’s business plan for the Northern Lights Festival.

"City Staff will present a case to switch diesel vehicles........"

I wish the City would present a plan to do away with the full sized trucks used by their staff when a small car or truck would do for travel within the City.

How many of you saw the Colin on the Von Palmer show on Saturday?

Von Palmer; Is there a homlessness problem in Prince George?
Colin; Well I try to drive the economy and promote development within the City but I try to encourage my council tp participate in other projects that concern our citizen. Homlessness is not a problem in Prince George or words to that effect. CLICK.
I don't think Colin has a clue as to the cause of homelessness. I saw him on some programme or other and seemed to think it was the "mentally ill".

I would venture to suggest that he would like to see it as problem to just go away rather than one to be solved.
