The Prince George Cougars and the City of Prince George  have worked out a plan to compensate fans who attended the October 28th game  that was called off because of poor ice conditions.

All fans, including Season Ticket Holders, who were in attendance on October 28 are asked to visit Ticketmaster and provide them with your name and phone number. Ticketmaster will then issue a free ticket for the Cougars game on February 27, when the Cats are slated to resume the third period of the postponed game. The 3rd period will be played prior to the start of their regularly scheduled game with the Everett Silvertips.
The Cougars are also working closely with the City to ensure the evening is a great event for the entire family.
Details surrounding this promotional evening will be issued at a later date, but promises to be fun for all ages.
“We are pleased to be working with the City to provide first class entertainment for all of our fans. This will be the first four period game in Cougars history, and we are encouraging the community to come out and be a part of this event”, says Cougars Business Manager Brandi Brodsky. “We are determined to make this a win-win situation for our organization, the City of Prince George, and most importantly our fans”.
Over the past week, the City has worked with the Cougars to ensure the ice was in good shape for Wednesday's game  "We had some fans who complained of being cold that night" says Brandi Brodsky, "But that won't be the norm once the ice  has reached optimal conditions."  She says the City has been in constant contact with Dan Craig, the Manager of Facility Operations for the NHL.  Once  the ice surface here  is back to its normal  conditions, Craig will be consulted  on how to make it better.  The Cougars have also  implemented an Ice Surface survey which  will be  distributed to all visiting teams.  The Cougars have already received some positive feedback.

**This will be the first four period game in Cougers history and, we are encouraging the community to come out and be a part of this event**. I guess it would be the first, Im sure that they are not planning on having a second.

Is this supposed to be some kind of **spin** on a bad situation??

Better hope that 6000 fans dont show up for free tickets.
I love it...
they loose a lot,
then blame the ice and have two people fired...
then fire their coaches...
put someonelse in charge of coaching,
make the city pay for tickets,
and as of last night they are still a bunch of loosers...
so nothing has been solved....
way to go cougars.....continue on your looosing ways.... i love it...
