Williams Lake TimberWolves never trailed in a 5-4 victory over the Spruce Kings at the Prince George Coliseum. The T-Wolves held period leads of 2-0 and 3-1.  The Kings closed within one goal twice in the third but could not solve goalie Alex Ervin for the equalizer. Brenden Turnbull, Zach Davies, Greg Tyshynski and Chris Shudo scored for the Spruce Kings who fell to 1-2 on their current five game homestand. Former Cougars assistant coach Stu Malgunas was behind the Kings bench for his first game  as a volunteer assistant coach for the BC Hockey League Club.
