Economic Development Minister, and Minister Responsible for the Asia Pacific Initiative and the Olympics, Colin Hansen, will be  addressing the Prince George Chamber of Commerce today. 

He is  expected to deliver a speech about  the  province's hot economy and how to keep it hot.

He is also expected to talk about the impact the 2010 games will have on the  northern economy.

Yeah Hnsen's a real credible guy. Coming up here to punp that money pit the "Games". All the lemmings will be there to line up at the top of the cliff.
He should talk to the Labour Council and get some really good ideas to take back to Victoria. Guess he will also be pushing Istep for the construction industry.
One would think he would talk about the rupert port and the investments the province will be making in pg to create a tax free zone along with an intermodal transportation facility. Campbell has certainly been talking up a storm about it at UBCM and in Penticton ..... so, "real" or "not real", that begins to be the question we will need some answers to very shortly. Shippers will start to make plans soon, if they have not already, so it is time for "show me the money" or move on out of town Mr. Hansen.
