The PG Cougars recently passed the 20-game mark which allows this quiet observer to issue the following first report card of the season.

Here’s a look at the dirty dozen times two.

These stats, and letter grades, do not include the Oct 28th incomplete game against Everett.

20 year olds

Name Pos GP G A Pts +/- Pim Letter grade

Eric Hunter F 21 6 10 16 -4 47 C
Comment: The underachieving Captain is not even close to his 40-goal pace of last season.
Brett Robertson F 20 5 10 15 -3 25 C

Real Cyr G 17GP 2.84 GAA .900 save pct 2 shutouts C

16 year olds

Name Pos GP G A Pts +/- Pim Letter grade
Dale Hunt F 17 0 0 0 -4 8 D
Comment: The first round bantam pick has had a difficult adjustment to the WHL.

This report card is not something one would want to bring home to Momma. However, the letter grades do reflect why the Cougars have a losing record and have been the most disappointing team in the WHL.
