The Cougars have hired a "Team Consultant".

Terry Simpson will be working with  the Cougars organization for a week, starting on the 21st of November.

Cougars owner Rick Brodsky says Simpson is a plus “I have known Terry for almost thirty years.  He has a proven track record in hockey and we feel that his input will be an asset to our organization.”
Simpson has extensive experience in both the WHL and NHL and is expected to share some of that hockey knowledge with with Cougars.

Does this mean that maybe we will get hockey now and not WWE on skates?
Somehow I doubt it....
Somebody to fire if things don't go Brodsky's way.
Homer's brother?
Good job Cougars!

Terry Simpson has a vast knowledge of the game. Hopefully he can help turn around this team.

However, the skeptic in me says that Simpson is being brought in to be a yes man to Brodsky, and that no real change will occur.

1st move to respectability? Fire Big D and his wife, then get rid of Russ Smart as the head scout (Brodsky's old drinking buddy). Matter of fact, fire the entire scouting staff.

Why the fans in PG need to be subject to this circus is beyond me.

It's definitely a symbiotic relationship. Brodsky needs the fans for his retirement, and the fans need Brodsky to actually have a team here.

I mean after all, don't the jedi knights need the sith to exist?
