Police are continuing their investigation into a sexual assault on a Prince George woman that took place as the 22 year old walked through the grounds at 311 Wilson Crescent shortly after 10 pm. Last night.

 The young woman was grabbed from behind and forced to the ground were she was sexually assaulted. The woman was released when her cell phone rang and assailant released her running towards highway 16.

 The woman was able to get to her residence were she called police who set up a perimeter and brought in a police dog.

The police tracking dog was able to locate items at the scene and confirm the location of the incident.

 Police are now seeking your assistance in asking that anyone in that area around that time last night who may have witnessed anything strange to report  to them.
