Suzuki Coming to P.G.

The third annual Bob Ewert Memorial Dinner will welcome David Suzuki as the key speaker.

The nationally known environmentalist and scientist will deliver an address entitled "The Challenge of the 21st Century: Rediscovering the Human Place in the World"  at the January 27th  event.

A geneticist, Suzuki  has a PhD in Zoology, has received 18  honorary doctoral degrees and and has written 43 books, however, he may best be known as the host of the  CBC television's "The Nature of Things". 

In addition to being the Chair of the David Suzuki Foundation, he is  also Professor Emeritus of The University of British Columbia, Sustainable Development Research Institute.

The annual Dr. Bob Ewert memorial lecture, dinner and dance is a fundraiser for the Northern Medical Programs Trust. 

Tickets are $100. each and are available at the Office of University Advancement ( the old Bank of Montreal Building on Third Avenue)

With tickets at $100.00 each, we can certainly imagine who the audience will be. What a shame that those of a more 'modest' income will not be able to attend.
