No Record Breaking Days in November
By 250 News
It may come as a big surprise, but November did not set any daily records. That's the Word from Environment Canada's Jim Steele.
The month was colder than normal, a full 4 degrees colder. Steele says when the cold blast hit us between the 24th and 28th, the temps during that time were colder than the entire winter of 2005-06.
As for precipitation, well, we were well above the norm in that category. Usually, November sees total precipitation of just over 51 mm (rain and melted snow), but we got nearly 74mm last month!
