Fraser Ft George Traffic Services along with the Prince George Integrated Traffic Services Unit say that as a result of a weekend counterattack in the Mackenzie, Prince George and the rural areas around the city, three impaired driving charges were laid, 16 , 24 hour suspensions were handed out for alcohol, 8, 24 hour suspensions for drugs and six plants being transported in a vehicle were seized.
In addition three prohibited drivers were apprehended, and five people mostly as a result of collisions were ticketed for driving to fast for the conditions.
Approximately 4,000 vehicles were checked over the weekend.
