These pictures were taken a few weeks ago in Southern Alberta by an acquaintance of Douglas Hickey of Kamloops, a forest fire fighter.  Hickey was away fighting fires in Quebec and says after a few days rest he is heading up to 100 Mile to meet up with his crew today. 

The group of fire fighters who had been in Quebec for the past 19 days returned home after rain hit the area where they were fighting the fires. 

So, cast an eye into the sky, we may be getting rain but nothing like this stuff. 

Now, July doesn't seem to have been all that bad after all!
