The Cougars are looking for a new head coach.  Lane Lambert has pulled the plug.  In a news  release issued earlier today, Dallas Thompson says:

"We regret to announce that Lane Lambert will not be returning as head coach of the Prince George Cougars. Due to circumstances beyond our control Lane has decided to pursue other coaching opportunities. This was not a scenario that we wanted but we understand his situation of wanting a coaching job in the USA.

There are some excellent candidates available and we are excited to have the opportunity to hire a new coach that is committed to our program, our city, our fans and our players. We realize training camp is just around the corner but we feel we have ample time to fill the position with a dynamic, proven coach. "

There has been no word on who the Cougar's have in mind.

Hartley Miller for Coach!
The good ol "cats"....Aug 3 and they are looking for a head coach....sounds like a real class organization.Maybe I should call Brodsky's son in law and let him know that Gus Greco is probably available, you know he fits the mold for the cats,he has experience(half a season with the spruce kings and a few other gigs in jungle B)the other deciding factor is that he will probably work for peanuts.
Don't worry boy's soon the building will be empty and you can move the team back to the island because lets face it...that is really the grand plan isn't it Rick?
