while just 17 % said Yes.
So, some advice for those 17% who are now one week into their plan.
Researchers say its all about real committment. According to studies on the most common resoultions ( health related) the more confident a person is that they can make the change, the more likely they are to stick with it and achieve success, but, there is also a need to recognize that resolutions are not a one-time effort, rather, they are a step in a process.
The experts say there are three key points to remember if you want to stay on track:
- Have a strong initial commitment to make a change.
- Have coping strategies to deal with problems that will come up.
- Keep track of your progress. The more monitoring you do and feedback you get, the better you will do.
