Spruce Kings Acquire Oil Baron

Prince George Spruce Kings pursuit of more offense has resulted in a trade with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. The Kings dealt 2o year-old defenseman Bobby Hineman and futures to Fort McMurray for the leading scorer of the Oil Barons, 19 year-old forward Tyler Helfrich. The 5-11 190 lb. Helfrich had 18 goals and 32 assists in 43 games with the Barons, 12 goals came on the power play. The Spruce Kings expect more player movement before the 6PM BCHL trading deadline.
