Police Look For Suspect In Possible Attempted Abduction

Prince George RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating a man involved in what may have been an attempted abduction.

Police say late this afternoon a  Peden Hill Elementary student was walking home alone on Gogolin Road.  A dark green four door newer car approached in the oncoming lane  passed her and stopped.

The male in the car, got out of the vehicle and chased the girl down the street.   The suspect gave up the chase a short time later.  The girl was upset but not harmed. 

Police say their suspect is  Indo-Canadian in appearance,  possibly in his 50's, wearing a turban, glasses, and a blue coat.  Anyone with any information is asked to  contact Police  or Crime Stoppers.
