Meet Denis L. Gendron, the new Director for Electoral Area "A".

He was sworn in  on Tuesday so that he could  get the material necessary to prepare for today’s Regional District Meeting, his first  since the by-election.

Gendron won the by-election Saturday with nearly 40 votes more than his opponent, Leif Jensen. 

"We had to go to court on Tuesday to sign off the 9 day waiting period for possible recount" says Gendron,  "Once it was clear Mr. Jenson wasn’t going to contest the results,  I was sworn in."

Gendron says although the agenda for today’s meeting seems light, "There was a ton of material passed to me to get caught up on" that material includes the Regional District budget plans.
