Megan Tandy of Prince George was the top Canadian and fastest North American placing 13^th out of 46 in the 10km individual race at the World Youth Biathlon Championships in Italy. Tandy, a member of the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club, is competing in her second world youth finals.  Her best showing was an 8^th place effort at last year’s international biathlon event in Maine. Tandy and teammates race next on January 27^th in the youth women 6km biathlon sprint.
