New Boss for Trust

The former General Manager and Chair of the Nechako, Kitimat Development Board has been named as the new Executive Director of the Northern Development Initiative Trust. 

Janine Elo takes over the position in early September. 

36 projects have been approved in principle from the 135 million dollar trust; she will begin to examine them for the Board next month. 

The Trust was created with the money obtained from the sale of BC Rail.

I wonder if we can get Janine Elo to pay for the $145,000 marketing study for downtown Prince George.

It is a Northern Development issue, isn't it?
