Tandy Top Canadian in Biathlon Pursuit

The final individual event was held today at the World Youth Biathlon Championships in South Tyrol, Italy. Megan Tandy of Prince George was the top Canadian, finishing 28th out of 60 starters in the Youth Women 7.5 km Pursuit. Sarah Murphy of Alberta placed 29th in an event won by Marie Laure Brunet of France.  Teammate Laure Bosc claimed the bronze medal after topping the podium in the first two races of the championship.
The 3 x 6 km youth women relay goes Tuesday at the World Youth Biathlon Championships.
