Knezevic in BC Curling Final

Patti Knezevic and her Prince George teammates curl for a provincial championship this afternoon. Skip Knezevic, third Tracey Jones, second Kay Lynn Thompson and lead Melinda Kotsch defeated Allison MacInnes of the host club 8-5 in the semi-final of the BC Scottie Tournament of Hearts, provincial women’s curling championship in Kamloops.
Knezevic never trailed in controlling the game, scoring deuces with their last rock on four ends. MacInnes needed two tie-breaker victories Saturday to each the semi-final.
Knezevic’s Prince George Golf and Curling Club rink goes against round robin winner, former Canadian and World champ- Kelley Law of New Westminster in the 2:30 PM provincial championship, the winner qualifies for next month’s Scott Tournament of Hearts, Canadian Women’s Curling Championship in Lethbridge.
