   Jesse Greenwood of Kelly Road  takes jump shot over Condors

Ovations from Kelly Road and Duchess Park support  spoke volumes about the entertainment value of the senior boys high school basketball game. The Roadrunners of Kelly Road scored a 72-70 victory over the Duchess Park Condors in the final of the PGSS tournament.  Kelly Road extended a 5 point half-time lead to 7 points after 3 quarters, but Duchess rallied for a 70-69 lead with less than a minute left in regulation. A ‘Runners steal with 55 seconds remaining produced the winning basket as Kelly Road hung for a  22^nd victory in a row.

“We’ve beat them (Duchess Park) 4 times but 3 times have been pretty tough,” Kelly Road coach Corey Antrim said.

Roadrunners Jesse Greenwood was named tournament MVP.
