All but one of the six students possibly affected by a lunch of under-cooked chicken strips last Wednesday were back in classes at Pineview Elementary School yesterday.

As for the restaurant/caterer involved in providing the lunch, an investigation launched by Norther Health continues.

Director of Communications, Mark Karjaluoto, says, he does not have a specific time-frame for the investigation, believing there’s still some ground to be covered.  He says, "We have been speaking with the food preparation staff, as well as the owners of the establishment in question."

Northern Health has refused to name the food premises at this point, but says it will be identified when a summary of the investigation is made public.

It is definetly not a good time for some people in this community.
No one knows who cooks under- cooked chicken. Gonna have to check my chicken closely from now on til we find out. Shouldn't have to though.
read between the lines.
How about a name wedged between those lines? Sure would satisfy some peoples curiosity. But then again, curiosity killed the cat. Not undercooked food.
In the interest of safety you would think they should have to give the name out.....but apparently not.

Maybe after they kill or seriously harm people next time , then us mere public people can hear the name of the dump as its read out in court.
