Another Boost For New Ward At PGRH

The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation's goal of raising two-million dollars to support the new Maternal Child Centre of Excellence at PGRH has received a boost.

The Guru Gobind Singh Temple Association has just presented its last installment of $45-thousand dollars in its $100-thousand dollar pledge for the new centre.

Foundation President, Del Laverdure, says the association's commitment, "to the Foundation, the Centre of Excellence, and to the children and families that will benefit from the new area is greatly appreciated."

The new paediatrics ward that is part of the Centre is open and work is continuing on the Special Care Nursery and new labour/delivery areas.
