PG RCMP Seeking 'Crucial Witnesses'

Despite the passage of two week's time, Prince George RCMP are hoping the trail is not cold in locating two good samaritans...

Police are seeking a man and woman who stopped to pick up a female hitchhiker along Highway-16 East, near McGregor, back on January 25th and drove the woman into Prince George.

Constable Jason From says the hitchhiker was a caucasian woman in her 40's and she was dropped off in the downtown core of the city.

Constable From says the occupants of the vehicle may be crucial witnesses in an ongoing investigation involving the woman and they're being asked to contact the Prince George detachment at 561-3300.

No further details about the case are being released at this time.
