Arrests Clear Several Files

Prince George RCMP are confident the arrest of some suspects on Friday near Staples, will clear some of their investigations. (see previous story)
The two males are in custody and police will be asking Crown to consider the following charges.
27 year old male:
- theft of a van on February 6th
- aid in the robbery of PGI foods, February 6th by driving the getaway vehicle,
- theft of car on February 8th
- posesson stolen red echo on Feb 9th
25 year old male
- armed robbery at PGI foods on Feb 6th
- Posession of stolen red echo on February 9th.
The two will appear in Provincial court later this week.
Police spent the weekend searching for the suspect involved in the altercation at Walmart on Friday in which a syringe was produced. Early this morning, a 38 year old male turned himself over to police. Police will be asking Crown to consider the following charges:
- armed with a syringe to commit robbery at Walmart on February 9th
- carrying a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence
- committing an assualt using a weapon
He will appear in court later today.
